About the Role
As a Senior Power Platform Consultant, your role is crucial in driving our mission to revolutionise business processes. In this capacity, you will harness the Microsoft Power Platform to steer our customers through their digital transformation journey, embodying a pivotal influence in reshaping their business landscape.

Your responsibilities will be comprehensive, involving not just the design, development and delivery of Power Platform solutions but also extensive stakeholder engagement at all levels. This means actively collaborating with customers from diverse departments and hierarchical levels to understand their strategic goals and operational requirements. Your role will bridge the gap between technical solutions and business strategy, requiring a robust understanding of both technical and functional capabilities of the Microsoft Dynamics modules including Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, coupled with an acute awareness of the potential business impact.

You will spearhead projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with our customers’ objectives while maintaining effective communication channels with stakeholders and leading the technical input. This entails technical expertise but also a strong aptitude for engaging with stakeholders, understanding their concerns, and addressing their needs throughout the project lifecycle. Coupled with your ability to think in terms of project management, your leadership will guide teams and customers alike, turning complex business needs into actionable, value-driven solutions.

In this role, you will be more than a consultant; you will a strategic partner and visionary leader, guiding our customers through their digital transformation with a keen eye on both technical excellence and stakeholder satisfaction.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • 10+ years' experience leading cross-functional teams in customer-facing delivery roles, in a Microsoft Partner organisation
  • 3-5 years' established experience delivering Power Platform solutions including Dynamics 365, Azure, Dataverse
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in high-level stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering, design and architecture of Microsoft Dynamics and the Power Platform
  • Ability to translate business requirements into tangible, realistic business solutions
  • A good facilitator and strong personality, able to manage multiple internal/external stakeholders
  • Understanding of broader Microsoft stack and how to leverage it to create powerful solutions including, but not limited to PowerApps (model-driven and canvas apps), Power BI, Dataverse, Azure Data Factory, Power Pages
  • Good understanding of the purpose and capabilities of extensions such as plugins, custom workflows and JavaScript
  • Ability to analyse requirements against standard features across the application stack for Dynamics.

Qualifications

  • Degree in a numerate, business or computing subject, or an equivalent professional qualification
  • One or more relevant and current technical qualifications (e.g. Microsoft Certified D365 Power Platform Solution Architect Expert).

This role is UK-based and will require visits to customer sites in the UK and Ashton Court's HQ in Northampton. The position involves flexible working, with the opportunity to work from home. Although the majority of our staff work from or within a reasonable commute to our offices, we also have staff working remotely from wider locations.  We welcome applications from candidates located throughout the UK, particularly based around the Midlands.  However, ability and attitude are more important than location.

Interview Process
Initial 30 minute Teams meeting with a senior member of staff in the same discipline as the role for which you have applied.  If successful, we will be inviting candidates to a second interview of up to one hour, including an assessment of your skills and experience.
