Upgrade of CRM Regulatory System

Ashton Court is pleased to announce success in tendering for a contract to upgrade Care Council for Wales' CRM requlatory system. The project has been commissioned as part of the preparation for Care Council's transition to Social Care Wales in April 2018.

The procurement for the project was carried out using the competitive dialogue procedure, for reasons explained by Care Council: "The technical, training and support expertise required, as well as the high profile and critical nature of the work and tight timescales, make this a demanding commission."

Care Council added: "[We wish] to procure a single Supplier with the expertise, experience and capacity to provide the upgrade within timescales and budget to go-live in April 2018. This means either one organisation that has the range of expertise in house or an organisation with considerable expertise in house and sub-contracting with key partners." Following a comprehensive and demanding three-stage tendering process, Ashton Court was selected in front of nine other potential partners.

Ashton Court welcomes the opportunity to assist Care Council to prepare for its new regulatory role. The intention is to upgrade the CRM to Dynamics 365 and to introduce Dynamics 365 Portals for the portal. This is expected to bring systems in-line with advances in technology and broaden the scope of their use.
