About the Role
As the Lead Technologist – Dynamics 365, you will serve as a strategic and technical authority, setting the direction for architectural best practices, guiding high-performing teams, and ensuring the delivery of scalable, enterprise-grade solutions. This is a new role, where you will be acting as a trusted advisor to both clients and colleagues; you will influence major transformation programs, champion innovation, and foster a culture of technical mastery and continuous improvement.
You will have at least 10 years' commercial experience in in technology solutions or services development within a Microsoft Partner organisation and a deep understanding of digital transformation business drivers. You will have a strong technical background and in-depth knowledge of cloud technologies, with a focus on Microsoft's cloud offerings (Azure, Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365).

This role is UK-based and will require visits to customer sites in the UK and Ashton Court's HQ in Northampton. The position involves flexible working, with the opportunity to work from home. Although most of our staff work from or within a reasonable commute to our offices, we also have staff working remotely from wider locations in the UK. We welcome applications from candidates located throughout the UK, particularly based around the Midlands. However, ability and attitude are more important than location.

Interview Process
Interviews are conducted in a two-stage process. Successful applicants will be invited to an initial 30-minute Teams meeting with the Head of Department and another member of the team, this is a very informal chat to get to know you and for you to get to know us. Ensuring a culture fit is a big part of being at Ashton Court so we like to make sure it’s a fit on both sides before we move to the next stage. If successful, we will be inviting candidates to a second interview of up to one hour, including an assessment of your skills and experience and will include a technical test. Full details of each stage will be included on each invite sent out and will also be explained. Final interview and offer of employment is preferably held in person at our offices but can often be held on Microsoft Teams. Full details will be provided at a later date for those who are selected.
